What do you do for a living?
I have found in my recent unemployment this question above is a loaded one for Americans. We put so much stock in what we do for a living as to let it define us as people, or worse yet, so much self esteem is generated from your occupation.
Really is what anybody does going to be on their tombstone it was so important? Doubtful.
Is this an American paradigm?
Is this why secretaries are now administrative assistants, and sales people are now store associates. etc, etc, etc?...do we have so much ego and self esteem tied to these crappy positions we have to make new titles to justify our self worth?
I have decided to NOT let what I do for a living define who I am as a person anymore.
Will you?

The Federal Government is so inefficient as to almost be laughable, almost.
This snafu caused massive financial harm to the agricultural industry because the FDA is not accountable to anyone and cannot perform it's primary job function.
What does the FDA approval rating mean for me? Nothing, not a damn thing.
Thank You Federal Government!

Eisenhower warned against this exactly in his farewell speech from 1961.

When the only business left is the business of supplying a never ending war, you have George Orwell's 1984 and EXACTLY what Eisenhower warned against.
Thank You Republican Party for enslaving us all, slavery is freedom.
